I know that this site is not a support site for coova, but given that many operators use coovachilli I thought I might raise the issue here in the hope that some of the newer operators (like us) can save themselves a few (thousand million) hours of frustration:

1)  DO NOT TRUST THE COOVA WEB INTERFACE - it often doesn't get the job done.  Your best bet is to learn what the config files are and edit them manually, and then by all means run "reboot" from a root prompt after you've finished.  I know it sounds like a blunt instrument, but coovachilli simply does not listen to reason -- brute force is required to make it comply.

2)  See ( 1) ) above.

Can you tell I'm frustrated?  lol

I'm thinking of rewriting some of the cgi for coova to make it more solid (if I ever find the time).
