I am setting up a paid hotspot with 3G internet access and would like to limit simultaneous / concurrent users to only two at a time. Please tell me how I can achieve this with HotSpotSystem. Thank you.

Hello,
how would you like to make this work? If you sell accesses users will not tolerate if they cannot login and they will ask for a refund or chargeback.

I would like to setup a hotspot in a hotel for the our guest with approximately 6 linksys routers / 3G modems. A guest would be able to login to whichever access point does not have two users already logged in. All access would be by voucher with a time limit. Thus, a maximum of 12 users can use the hotel's wifi at any one given time. I am located in the middle of the jungle in south america. There is no broadband available here presently. Is there any way your system can limit the number of users per hotspot. Maybe with a page saying "This access point has reached the max logged on users two(2) - please check back shortly"? Thank you.

I still don't understand how you would like to handle this. When people are paying for a service they expect the service to work. What if they cannot log in at all as there are always 2 people online? Are you expecting them to sit there and click on the login until they can finally log in? I don't think that business model would work and it would cause more problems than benefits.
You can turn off the credit card module to avoid that more people buy the access than what your system is capable of handle. That way you can avoid to have angry customers.

Is there any way you can implement a way to switch off payments when a certain amount of people have subscribed? If this happens, a different page could be displayed telling the would be subscriber the system is at full capacity and to check again tomorrow or a message telling them more bandwidth is being added to the system. The paid customers can still log in and are not affected. I think this would be a unique feature that would put you a cut above the rest

Andy, this is possible, however you need to monitor your hotspot to check whether it reached the full capacity or not.
Whenever you want to temporarily disable new registrations, just go to the Control Center, click on Manage > Locations > click on the name of the location > Modify Hotspot Data > Splash Page Settings, uncheck both the primary payment module and the paypal module.
That way your customers will see a message saying 'the location is currently not accepting credit card payments'.
