Hello,
i have read your guidline four the Airmax version of the ubiquiti Picostation M2
i have firmware 5.5 and tried to downgrade it to 5.3.5 in vaine i have downloaded your version
Hotspotsystem.XM.v5.3.5.sdk.0001.120228 that one had a bad firmware warning and the other one
Hotspotsystem.XM.v50.3.5.sdk.0001.120831 witch was accepted but failed to boot up and no ip adresse
i managed throut the ubiquiti forum to restore the original 5.5 and noted that other too had problemes downgrading to 5.3.5
reading further i understood that the only solution to the pb is to build a hotspot version of airos from version 5.5 sdk
i have no programing backround, i read that the nice people from HOTSPOTSYSTEM may be able to do that
i stayed up all night, the problem is that i have to intall 10 pico's for a show today, if it possible for the technicians from HSS to complie it for me (and others), i would be really grateful
Regards
Arye

Hello,
you have two options:
1. Connect a LAN cable from the INTERNET port of the router to your computer. Set your computer a static IP like 192.168.1.2, netmask 255.255.255.0 . The router should be available at 192.168.1.20
2. Connect a LAN cable from the LAN port of the router to the computer, be sure that no other cables are connected to the internet port. Set your computer to get an IP from the router via DHCP. You should get an IP from the router like 192.168.20.47 . The router should be available at 192.168.20.1 (if you cannot connect you have to wait).
Please let me know the results.

Still no news from Ubiquiti ?. I have 3 Bullet M2 HP.
In waiting the new firmware from ubiquiti, I just bought a linksys WRT54G router on Ebay. My plan was to connect my Bullets M2 HP on the Lan port of the Linksys router (I flashed it with the HotspotWRT firmware and enable the Hotspotsystem on wireless and lan). My Bullet is set as Acces Point without security setting.
I am able to connect to the Bullet Access Point, but I do not have internet access, I do not have access to the HotspotSystem splash page. (the HotspotSystem works fine if I connect the computer directly with a cable to the Linksys Router Lan port).
Does someone have an idea ?
