The comptability list says that Hotspotsystem supports any router  which supports external Radius authentication which is compatible with the AAA Protocol

Where can I find any instructions on how to install a router that satisfies this condition?

Hello,

this depends on the router as every router has different configuration options. The router has to support redirection to an external website, and external radius server configuration. Several routers have only partial support and cannot be configured to work with our system. Some others are working perfectly, a fine example is Mikrotik. Some others are working with our system but lots of features are missing, an example is Cradlepoint - we are working with those guys together to bring full support for that router.

So there is no ultimate answer for this, the configuration depends on the router and its not guaranteed that it will fully work with our system.
