I am trying to change the dns in my router to use opendns.. I found on the site that I need to

HotspotWRT / CoovaAP
To modify all DNS servers you have to SSH to your router.
Open the /etc/chilli/config file (with vi command) and delete the line starting with "dns1".
After this you can change DNS values at Hotspot>DHCP>DNS.

I downloaded putty but I am lostnow. I logged into the router. How do i open the /etc/chilli/config file to change it?

Thanks.

Hello,

you should use the vi command to edit the config file. The command is "vi /etc/chilli/config". See this link for help with using the vi command: http://www.cs.colost...elpdocs/vi.html
Then resume the procedure from our knowledge base: http://www.hotspotsy...=2780-KLXM-8228
